Janet Thibert
Au.D., CCC-A, Doctor Of Audiology/Owner
Janet Thibert is the owner and founder of Advanced Hearing Solutions. She opened the practice in 2007, and continues to make customer service her number one priority. Janet specializes in the evaluation and treatment of hearing loss, and has greatly enjoyed providing hearing healthcare services to those in her community.
She received her Doctorate degree in Audiology from the University of Florida, and her Master of Science degree from Wayne State University. She has over 25 years of clinical experience. Janet is licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Professional Regulation, certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (CCC-A), and a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA). When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.

Dr. Amy Wiza
Audiologist
Dr. Amy Wiza joined Midwest Audiology & Hearing Center in May of 2021. Previously, she led the Audiology department with Peter Medved, MD at Medved Ear, Nose and Throat for 18 years. Dr. Wiza received her master's degree from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2003 and her doctorate from Pennsylvania of College of Optometry-School of Audiology in 2006.
Dr. Wiza takes pride in providing the correct hearing aid for each patient's specific needs. She works closely with each patient to select the appropriate level of technology and size of hearing aid based on their lifestyle. Hearing loss can interfere with every part of a person's life including social activities and relationships with family members, friends and colleagues. Dr. Wiza's primary goal is to improve hearing which will improve hearing acuity which will improve overall health and well-being.

Douglas Kloss, Au.D.
Audiologist
Dr. Douglas Kloss is an audiologist at Midwest Audiology & Hearing Center. Prior to joining our practice, Dr. Kloss served as an educational audiologist for the largest school district in Wisconsin for many years.
Dr. Kloss has more than 25 years of experience as an audiologist. He earned his Master’s Degree in Audiology from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and obtained his Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, School of Audiology.
Raised in Oak Creek, WI, Dr. Kloss is often called upon for his educational and industrial audiology consulting expertise. He is committed to serving the hearing impaired and takes great pride in the amount of time he spends with his patients. He is frequently complimented on his old-fashioned values and high level of patience and understanding.

Joanne Colombo, MA
Audiologist
Joanne Colombo, MA, Audiologist is a certified and licensed audiologist at Midwest Audiology & Hearing Center. She is well-versed in diagnostic hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, and assistive listening device usage. She obtained her graduate degree in Audiology at Wayne State University.
Joanne has 30 years of experience in clinical, private, and public school settings. Prior to retirement, she held the position of educational audiologist for the Milwaukee Public Schools system, where she met and worked closely with Dr. Kloss. She enjoys counseling patients about their hearing loss and hearing aid needs, and is a co-developer of Self-Advocacy 101: A Teacher’s Tool for School-Aged Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Students.

Veronica H. Heide, Au.D.
Audiologist
Audiologist Dr. Veronica Heide has been in practice in the Madison area for over 25 years. Dr. Heide has worked in clinics, hospitals, and industry, and founded her private practice, Audible Difference, in 1991. In addition to her clinical practice, she worked as a research audiologist for Nicolet Instrument Corporation with Project Phoenix – the world’s first commercially available digital hearing aid.
Dr. Heide was awarded the first “Audiologist of the Year” in 2000 from Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Association (WSHA). This was an award nominated by patients and juried by professionals. She received the WSHA Outstanding Service Award in 2004, and in 2008 received the WSHA Honors of the Association.

Tiffany Brewer, Au.D., CCC-A
Audiologist
Dr. Tiffany Brewer received her Bachelor of Science in speech pathology and audiology at Marquette University in 2018 and her Doctor of Audiology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2023. Prior to her move to Beaver Dam, she was a clinical audiologist at an audiologist-owned private practice in Louisville, KY.
By using a holistic, research-based approach to hearing health care, she works with her patients to bridge gaps in communication with their loved ones. She strives to provide a personalized treatment plan, which includes services for hearing aids, cochlear implants, and bone-anchored hearing aids. Dr. Brewer enjoys making a positive impact within the Beaver Dam community and witnessing improvements in the quality of life of her patients that are now hearing better. Dr. Brewer prides herself as a Wisconsin native growing up in Oak Creek, WI. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband (Ian), two sons (Peter and Simon), and morkie (Daisy).
